This item was stored at my parents' house. I don't know when it was made. It appears unused, but I'm not sure if it was actually used. I researched the mark on the box online and found that it's Seto-yaki (Seto ware). There is a faint stain on the back of one plate. The box is dirty in places, and one of the boards is coming loose.
