This is a knit hat for dogs with ear holes. It's knitted with 100% wool and three strands of bulky yarn to make it fluffy, warm, and durable. The face and neck are ribbed, and the top of the head is stockinette stitch. It's long, so it covers the neck like a snood. To ensure a comfortable fit, it's made with soft, stretchy, and skin-friendly wool blend yarn, knitted with knitting needles. Although items made with crochet hooks can be finished quickly, they are stiff and don't stretch well, so I've chosen to use knitting needles even though it takes more time.
