The condition is generally typical for a used item, but there is some yellowing due to aging. Please check the photos for the condition of the books. There is damage to the main body of volume 1, the cover of volume 3, and the final page of volume 9. Volume 1 has a rental book sticker on the main body only, but there is nothing written on the covers or pages, so there is no problem reading it normally. (I didn't notice it when I bought it.)
