You can enjoy the denim in its rigid state without any color fading in the future. The only concern is color transfer from the belt onto the patch. As those in the know are aware, due to the nature of the fabric, there is overall fuzziness from the slub yarn. As a muscular, stocky person who is 173cm tall, the length felt a little short to me, so I couldn't wear it with the hem gathered. I think it would be better for someone who is 165cm to 170cm tall with a slender to average build. I haven't washed it because I'm afraid of shrinkage. Of course, I haven't had the hem altered either. I own both black and blue versions in sizes S and M, and they all shrunk naturally. This is probably due to the characteristics of the loosely woven fabric. There is no critical damage, but it is used clothing, so please refrain from purchasing if you are looking for the condition of a new item or if you are a perfectionist.
