"Maestoso" (aka MAT) is the second Lcqtique product, following the discontinued MAR. This effector's development started by focusing on what I believe are the most important modification points of the mod-type TS, or "TS-type," that has been popular in recent years. That is, 1. Increasing the variability of gain and volume. 2. Restoring the cut low-end. 3. Ensuring resolution by using a high-speed op-amp (the heart of the circuit). Regarding 1, both have been further enhanced compared to existing TS-type effects. This, combined with the other items, allows you to enjoy a wide range of uses, from Clean Boost to Low Gain Overdrive to Hi Gain Overdrive. Regarding item 2, this has been made a significantly stronger low-end than other TS-type effects, also considering the establishment of MAT's character. By having a solid, thick low to low-mid range, it has become possible to handle situations that the so-called TS's signature "Midrangey" sound character could not. Although I initially adopted the high-speed op-amp OPA2134, which is almost always included in high-end modified TS effects, MAT's extremely unstable state at maximum gain range led me to adopt the higher-end Analog Devices' high-speed op-amp AD712. In the process, I was very impressed that the resolution further improved, and the texture became softer than the OPA2134 (+SymLEDClip) type, with a unique, elastic texture, enhancing MAT's individuality.
