I switched to using a soft cooler & ice container because it was heavy and I didn't want to take it out, so I've kept it indoors since then. The ice lasted well for two nights even in midsummer, and the cooling power was outstanding. It's a cooler box with excellent cooling performance, made with a rotomolding process and insulation up to 5 cm thick. I think you can efficiently store food by using it with high-performance ice packs like Cooler Shock. I will also include a Cooler Shock (large) ice pack, which is no longer needed.
