【Product Description】 Made in Spain ARIA AC-75CB Contrabass Guitar with Hard Case This is an ARIA contrabass guitar. Although it is already discontinued, it was made in Spain and sold for a list price of 240,000 yen and a street price of around 180,000 yen. It is a guitar an octave lower than a classical guitar. With a string length of 750mm, it might be best to think of it as an acoustic version of the Fender Bass VI. I bought it because I needed to play the low frequencies in an ensemble without PA, and I thought that a contrabass was difficult to transport and store, and I wanted something as compact as possible. Acoustic basses and ukulele basses are designed to be used with a PA, but this one can produce a relatively loud sound even without a PA, and the body is large, so it resonates well. It was very useful in my playing environment. The string height is about 4mm, but the string tension is only slightly stronger than that of a classical guitar, so I don't feel it's difficult to play. In that sense, I think this is more of a guitar than a bass, even though it's in the low range. The neck has a slight forward bow. Also, there is clouding on the sides and back of the body.
