This belonged to my deceased aunt, and I believe it was purchased about 25 years ago. There are no certificates, but the wrapping paper has her handwriting on it, stating "Wild silk, re-dyed." It's a fabric that has been taken apart for washing (arai-hari), and there are patches in places, as shown in photos 7-9. There are about 10 meters in total. Wild silk is a natural silk, and its silk thread is also known as "diamond fiber" due to its excellent properties and rarity. It is light, durable, has a good feel, and is warm in winter. It has an uneven weave (patterned ground), and gold thread embroidery is used on a part of the design. It is not see-through, and it feels a bit crisp. The colors in photos 5 and 6 are close to the actual fabric. Although details are unknown due to the lack of certificates, I believe it is a wonderful fabric, so I hope someone will like it.
