When I was a beginner at kimono dressing, I struggled to tie obiage well. However, Erihide's crepe plain weave obiage has a very good texture due to its crinkled surface, making it very easy for even someone like me, who is not dexterous, to shape. Since it's made of high-quality silk, it hardly retained any creases after tying. I bought four in different colors, and they were very useful for my lessons for half a year. They are not suitable for formal wear, but they are perfect for semi-formal occasions, komon, tsumugi, and iromuji kimonos. Since they are solid colors, I think they are easy to match with kimonos of any pattern. They don't get much use now, so I am selling them.
