This is a Floyd Rose tremolo unit made in Japan by Fernandes, listed in their 1985 catalog. There is some rust and dirt due to aging, but I think it's in good condition for something that's 40 years old. The FRT-7 was only listed in the catalog in 1985, and it's quite rare because there were hardly any models that came standard with the black FRT-7. * This was originally on a guitar that had its synchronized tremolo modified to an FRT, which I assume the owner purchased the black unit separately. • This listing includes only the unit and the arm. • Operation has been confirmed and disassembled/cleaned. • The block is 42mm. The bolt hole pitch is the same as the block on later Fernandes Head Crushers and fine tuner integrated string lock screw type blocks, so you can replace it with a shorter one if you find a block on an auction site. * I have a 37mm block, so if you need it, I will list it (please comment).
