Two sheets of Italian luxury leather, Buttero, split leather, approximately 1.5-2.0mm thick. This is vegetable-tanned split leather, so aging and edge finishing are possible. However, there are also disadvantages, such as lower durability compared to leather with the grain side. It can be used for backing thin leather, as an interlining, or roughened with sandpaper for a nubuck-like effect. Photo 4 shows a piece made using two A4 size sheets. It's reversible and can be used on either side. Photos 5, 6, and 7 show a tote bag made using this leather. The size is approximately A3. It's twice the size of A4 copy paper.
