This is a thin Hakata-ori obi. The fabric is slightly lustrous, thin, and light, with stylish wine-colored stripes on a charcoal gray background. There are some scuff marks on the edges, but they do not seem to affect wear. There is a "Nishijin Chigusa Obi" sticker on the inside of the hanging end. The material is unknown, but it makes a rustling sound when it rubs against clothing, so I suspect it is a blend of silk and wool. Please judge from the photos.
