This is a remake of a used women's kimono and fabric from my home stock. There are signs of previous stitching, creases, wear, holes, and distortions. I have used a French seam, so you can use either side as the front, depending on your mood (see photos ①② for reference). - Colors - Cherry blossom pattern: I couldn't get the color to photograph correctly no matter how many times I tried! The color in photo 8 is close, and the color "ebiiro" (shrimp color) in the color chart in photo 9 is also close. The fabric in photo 9 appears darker than it is. Pink background Rainbow colors, pale rainbow colors Please use these as a reference. - Materials - Cherry blossom = used women's kimono, 100% polyester Plain fabric = new fabric, cotton/polyester blend Hazu thread and hole thread (photo 12) = 100% silk The kimono was washed and the plain fabric was pre-shrunk before sewing. - Approximate Size - Yumaki (bow wrap) Width = 12.5cm Length = 281cm String length = 65cm Kakebukuro (bow bag) Width = 32cm Length = 46cm String length = 65cm - Seams - Yumaki: None Kakebukuro: One seam added to the width of the fabric to make it 46cm.
