This is an American traditional cat "Pillow Doll," some of which have been made for over 100 years, and this one is from around the 1970s. The serene illustration, using shades of gray and beige, three-dimensionally expresses the cat's cuteness and softness. There are small holes and scratches of about 5mm around the back seam (last photo), and some stains on the gray bottom (photo 5), but overall, it does not feel sun-faded or discolored, and there are no loose threads, so it seems to be in good condition for a vintage item. Purchased around 2018 at the vintage clothing store "Suntrap" in Koenji, Tokyo. The cat illustration has an atmosphere that can be mistaken for a real cat at first glance, and it would be a surreal and unique decorative item. It is stuffed full, so it can also be used practically as a cushion or pillow. It was kept in a dark place in a corner of my living room (away from sunlight), so there is no sun fading, but please understand that it is a vintage item. The size is 26 cm in length x 21 cm in width x 11 cm in thickness. Please allow for some error as this is a amateur measurement.
