Our Bizen ware begins with crushing Bizen clay.
It is not fired in electric, gas, or kerosene kilns.
Instead, it is fired for about two weeks once a year,
at the kiln, at a temperature of around 1200 degrees Celsius,
without extinguishing the fire, and slowly baked.
Ten days later, it is taken out of the kiln, lightly polished,
hand-washed, and inspected for water leaks before being shipped.
We hope you will enjoy the unique texture of Bizen ware,
and the changes that occur as you use it (^人^)
