I purchased five, and all of them had thin scratches on the resin parts of the lid. They all seemed to have initial scratches. Just to be sure, I'll mention that although it's new and unused. The color is red. This one has a thin scratch on the bottom of the pot, an initial scratch from the manufacturing process, which I found during product inspection. It's the kind of scratch that would appear quickly with use, but I'd like to offer it to those who don't mind. I've priced it considerably lower as a result.
