The sound is grand in scale, with layers of fantastical synths from the "DUNE" era, a masterpiece. The 30-minute suite in the latter half has a theatrical feel with added vocals. Disc 2 includes the "Hitchcock Suite" recorded in 1977-78. This 40-minute epic has a mysterious flavor, themed around actresses who appeared in Hitchcock's films, such as Tippi Hedren, Janet Leigh, Karen Black, and Barbara Harris. The latter half includes live recordings from 1979. Disc 3 includes studio recordings from 1981-83 and live recordings from 1983.
