It's soft when wide open and becomes sharp when stopped down. The included lens hood has a Leica-like design and allows you to attach a filter in front. A protective filter is also included as a bonus. It looks very cool when attached to the X-Pro series, so I often took it out. Please refer to the photos attached to an X-Pro2. When combined with the Classic Negative film simulation on the X-Pro3 and later models, you can take some very emotive photos.
