I bought this at an antique market. It's old, so there are some stains here and there, but the gold thread embroidery is gorgeous. The clean, classical design features cranes, which gives it a sense of auspiciousness and prosperity! How about using the embroidery for a noren (split curtain), a mirror cover, a table runner, or a tapestry? You could also make cushions from the cleaner parts.
