I am currently sorting through inherited items. This is a beautiful, potentially valuable matcha tea bowl from my grandfather's collection, who was a collector of antiques. It features a stunning green glaze that flows like a waterfall, and is an antique piece of pottery, a tea ceremony utensil, and a flower arrangement tool. It appears to be quite old. A name is inscribed on the bottom. It was carefully stored in a shelf in the tea room in the storehouse, so it is likely a very good item. The cream-colored clay is covered with a plant-green glaze that flows, and then a deep green glaze is applied on top of that in two layers, creating a magnificent waterfall-like flow, making it a very atmospheric item. In addition, there is a gentle indentation on the side where your finger fits, forming a mark for the front when drinking tea. The elegant, deep color of the glaze and the beautiful curved shape make it a truly wonderful item, and I think you will like it. Size: 11cm wide, 7.5cm high, and it has a good depth, making it a well-balanced and easy-to-hold item. There is no box, but I will carefully pack and ship it. I would like to put up for sale some of the good items. My grandfather was a hospital director in his lifetime and owned many works of art, including paintings and pottery by Living National Treasures, and he boasted about them, so I think they are all very good items. Neither my grandchild nor my mother are very interested in antiques, and we don't know which works are by whom or what kind of pottery they are. I don't know if the items I'm selling are Imari ware, Kutani ware, Shigaraki ware, or Seto ware. Even if they are a large number of antiques or works by Living National Treasures, and they are wonderful works or very expensive items, I have no idea of their value.
