Synopsis
The story follows modern Korean art history lecturer Ji-yoon (Lee Young-ae) as she pursues the mystery surrounding the diary of the historical genius painter Saimdang (played by Lee Young-ae in a dual role) and the "Geumgangsan Mountain Painting." The past (Saimdang and Lee Gyum's poignant love and the secrets of the paintings) and the present (Ji-yoon's research and the authenticity controversy of the "Geumgangsan Mountain Painting") intersect, depicting a mystery surrounding the true work of the "Geumgangsan Mountain Painting" and Saimdang's hidden passionate life.
