This skirt was made from a single-layered wool kimono that was unpicked, washed, and ironed. I wasn't sure how it would turn out with the large check pattern, but it became a very cute skirt with a Showa retro feel (^○^) It's made of wool and has a lot of gathers, so I think you'll be able to wear it warmly. Adding a waist belt will also keep you warmer and make your legs look longer. It's a piece I hope you'll enjoy wearing with a red or green sweater for a Christmas-like look.
