This is a SAS chin rest. The appearance is as shown in the photos. It is the 28mm height type. I used it on a different leg, so I only tried this leg once. There are no major scratches or cracks on the wood. The legs are made of carbon-reinforced plastic. They have a reinforced design with beams on the inside. I have been using the earlier carbon-reinforced plastic version without beams for several years without any problems, but it has gradually expanded, so I think the reinforcement is a significant improvement. There are no issues with use. The hardware was attached to the box with adhesive, so there are traces of it, but I will remove it with benzine or something similar before shipping.
