I've confirmed that the lights turn on, but I haven't actually used them, so I don't know how much battery life is left. There appears to be some adhesive residue on the photo frames, which was present when I purchased them. It's not on the acrylic surface, so it should be hidden when you put photos in. I used the item in the 8th photo as a penlight holder for a dress guessing game. Shipping date is negotiable. (It may be possible to ship earlier than planned.)
