This is a set of four large Wajima-nuri (lacquerware) vermilion-lacquered bowls. The large bowls feature a luxurious polished maki-e (sprinkled picture) design of autumn grasses. There are some areas where the gold has rubbed off or chipped during wiping. These are not antiques, but rather relatively new items. I believe they are unused, but I have categorized them as "no noticeable scratches or stains." Size: Lid: Diameter approx. 21.2cm, Height approx. 4.2cm Bowl: Diameter approx. 19.1cm, Height approx. 8cm Height with lid: approx. 11cm The original box says there are five bowls, but this set contains four. Please be aware of this. The original box has damage and stains, but I will ship it as is. No smokers, no pets. For the sake of the environment, I reuse packing materials.
