This is a special festival specification, made by modifying the body of a butterfly crest armor (believed to be from the Edo period) for use in a local grand festival, including the creation of kusazuri (armor skirt) and other parts to withstand the event. The metal fittings used are also luxurious. This item comes with a yoroi-date (a wooden stand for displaying the body), so you can display it as is. Currently, it is displayed in a kobujutsu dojo, but it is being offered for sale because the new dojo location does not have a tokonoma (alcove), and it would otherwise be stored in a storehouse. We believe it would also look great in your home.
