Thank you for viewing. This is a self-made stereo VU meter for sale. It's a valuable item considering how difficult it is to obtain analog meters these days. I've made others and sold many on Mercari. I'm offering it to those who want to enjoy the atmosphere of昭和 (Showa era) audio or are interested in it. This unit doesn't have information on the manufacturer or model from where I obtained it, but it's a repurposed LR integrated VU meter, likely from a cassette deck. It's been combined with a self-made drive circuit board and a meter protection delay relay circuit (see photo 6). The meter illumination is a backlight cover type, but I've used LED lamps for longevity (see photo 5). The base enclosure is made from an aluminum plate bent into a U-shape, with a matte black sheet applied to the front and rear. A self-made wooden case (oil stain finish) is placed over it. *The wooden case is not fixed and can be removed by pushing it backwards. The approximate size is width 180mm x height 70mm x depth 110mm. Please refer to photo 8 for the meter dimensions. *Please refer to the connection terminal explanation on the back of the case (photo 7) for usage and connection methods. *The main VU meter components are fixed with double-sided tape and adhesive in some areas so they can be reused. ■Operation Check The meter protection delay circuit and meter movement function normally after power-on. The meter's LED illumination lamps also light up without any problems.
