Canadian Army Hospital Coat This is a Canadian Army hospital coat made in 1941. Similar to the famous British "Hospital Blues," a blue uniform worn by wounded soldiers during their recovery, this coat follows the design of the British Army, reflecting Canada's status as a member of the British Commonwealth. While British Army hospital coats are highly sought after, Canadian Army versions are also rare and highly collectible. It has one inner pocket, with no external pockets. The milk glass buttons, white stitching on the buttonholes, and the white lining visible when the sleeves are turned up provide a nice accent. There is some light soiling on the lining, but it is in good condition with no moth damage.
