From the second round of decluttering at my in-laws' house (after 10 years), This is one of my mother-in-law's tea ceremony utensils. It has a large, eye-catching color and pattern. I think you can mostly understand it from the photos. (I've found two *ken-sui* [waste water containers] so far, and I broke one while cleaning up. (Sob) I feel bad for my mother-in-law, so I'm learning *kintsugi* [Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with gold] to fix it and use it for another purpose...)
