Measurements for a medium-sized natsume: Widest part of the body: 20.9 cm Height: 6.5 cm Diameter of the base: 3.3 cm Vertical circumference from the center of the base to the center of the lid and back to the center of the base: 23.8 cm ■ The fabric is Fujidane-donsu, a famous textile. It may appear gold-colored in the photos, but it is a gentle straw color. It is made of silk and cotton thread, providing a soft texture. At the suggestion of a tea ceremony instructor who said it's better to have a name for use during lessons, I have presumptuously named it "Mugiwara-ji Fujidane-donsu" (Straw-colored Fujidane-donsu). When the string is closed, the height is such that it shows slightly, as seen in the fourth photo. The string is made from genuine silk hand-sewn thread, using a four-strand braid. I carefully and meticulously craft each piece, but as it is handmade, please check the photos carefully before purchasing. ■■■Important■■■ Please carefully check the size of your tea container before purchasing. If you purchase based on the assumption that it will probably fit based on the size of the shifuku alone, it may not fit, and we don't want to cause any inconvenience.
