It's made of silicone. I believe the battery is for testing purposes, but the one I'm using has been working for about 4 months now. When the battery runs out, please have it replaced at a watch shop. There is no warranty, but a simple instruction manual is included. Since this is an inexpensive item, we cannot accept returns for initial defects at your expense.
