This is a stick used for making nerikiri (a type of Japanese confectionery). I received it about 4 or 5 years ago and have kept it at home without using it. Please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned about anything. There is no mold. It is not new, as I received it used. Please check the 4th and 5th images for scratches and the natural wood grain.
