This is a Katakuchi Suribachi (lipped grinding bowl) from Horikoshi Kiln in Hofu City, Yamaguchi Prefecture. Size: Diameter: 22cm, Height: 8.5cm It's rare these days, and a large piece. There are no chips, cracks, or hairlines, but please understand that it is a used item. It can be used as a suribachi, or as a serving dish for salads or large dishes.
