I owned this as a spare for the same model I mainly use, so I rarely used it. The power outlet plug was the American 3-prong type, so I removed one prong to match the Japanese type. *The foot switch is unused. There are many different kinds of power supplies on the market, but I own several of these simple models and have been using them for over 20 years. They never break. No problems. I used to own several tattoo studios, but I downsized the number of stores, so I kept them in storage. I decided to sell them since I probably won't use them anymore. I occasionally checked their operation and performed maintenance. I checked the operation before listing, and there were no problems, and the stability is excellent.
