This is a pair of Satsuma Kiriko Ochoko (small sake cups). The overwhelming cuts and the deeply colored overlay glass display a stunning beauty. It has a substantial feel, heavier than it looks, and exudes a rich atmosphere. Of course, all pieces are marked with the SHIMADZU hallmark. These glasses are in a very beautiful, lustrous condition, but as they have been stored at home for a long time, they are not the same as brand new items purchased in a store. There may be minor scratches, imperfections, or age-related deterioration that I may not have noticed.
