Temmitsu-ji Temple (also known as Tamon-ji Temple), a temple that commemorates the soul of Goto Matabei A temple that honors Goto Matabei, a valiant warrior who served Kuroda Kanbei and Toyotomi Hideyori. He was one of the "Twenty-Four Knights of Kuroda" led by Kuroda Kanbei, and also one of the "Five Heroes of Osaka" during the Summer Siege of Osaka. It is said that in the second year of Genwa (1616), Matabei's son, Taro Masakata, received a donation of land from the Iwamoto Kanbei family in Ozaki Village to mourn his father who died in the Summer Siege of Osaka, and the temple was founded on the first anniversary of Matabei's death (May 6th). The main hall enshrines the memorial tablet of Goto Matabei. Goto Matabei, a warlord who appeared in historical dramas, was one of the "Five Heroes of Osaka Castle." Tamon-ji Temple was built to mourn him and his son.
