This is an extra-large calligraphy brush made by "Lao Kaiwen," a long-established Chinese ink and brush maker, using sheep wool. Lao Kaiwen is a historic maker of Hui ink (Anhui Province ink) that has been in business since the Qing Dynasty, and also manufactures brushes.
