This is a silk obiage (sash tie). It's a very vibrant red and white. I think it's rare to find a red and white obiage with such clear, crisp colors. Perfect for decorating the obi of formal wear for celebrations and ceremonies, or as an accent for a modern kimono outfit. The woven pattern and shibori (tie-dye) give it a luxurious feel. I purchased this as a new item, but I haven't had a chance to use it, so it's also unused by me. Please check the condition carefully in the photos, as it has been stored at home.
