Shin Yun-bok (1758 - date of death unknown), also known as Shin Jung-bok, was a genre painter of the late Joseon period, seemingly on par with Kim Hong-do. His style, set against the backdrop of the urbanization of the time, was characterized by delicate and refined genre paintings depicting the love between men and women, primarily focusing on the yangban (aristocrats) and gisaeng (courtesans). The original painting appears to be in the collection of the Kansong Art Museum in Seoul. This is a long-term storage item, and there is some soiling on the foot due to slight rubbing.
