The inscription has been removed from the item. There are no issues with the sword itself. Made entirely by hand using Yasuki Hagane No. 2 steel. The carved areas have a luster. The appearance is significantly better than works carved with a sword that has a dull edge. "Black blade" refers only to the hilt and the unsharpened blade.
