Beautiful Coalport teacup & saucer. Named after Queen Adelaide, who was born in 1833, this is a very popular shape. There are minor scratches due to age. There is some wear on the gold gilding of the cup. There are no cracks, chips, or hairlines. The condition is considered good for antique porcelain from approximately 200 years ago. I acquired it from the US for display purposes, and I have not used it as tableware. Made in England Circa 1815-1830 COALPORT Coalport Adelaide Shape Antique Coalport Adelaide Shape Floral & Gold Hand Painted Cup & Saucer Luxurious gold gilding Floral bouquet John Rose period Cabinet cup Cup diameter: approx. 10.8cm Saucer diameter: approx. 14.5cm This is a beautiful item with delicately hand-painted roses and floral bouquets. We hope you will add this teacup, loved by British nobility and upper-class ladies, to your collection.
