The back buttons can be undone to wear it over a school backpack. It was purchased for an outdoor study trip, and the part where the name tag was written has been blacked out. If you are concerned, please remove the sewn-on name tag or use a fabric sticker over it. My daughter doesn't like raincoats, so it was only tried on indoors and never used outdoors.
