This is a popular Fontanges series coffee pot from Sarreguemines (DIGOIN & SARREGUEMINES). The beautiful bouquet of flowers, such as anemones, and the elegant, undulating curves and the relief of the connected pearls are lovely. The series name "Fontanges" is said to be the name of a lady's hair ornament popularized by a mistress of Louis XIV. ★ There are no noticeable cracks or chips. There is a repair mark on the underside of the lid, but it is not noticeable. There are stains and minor scratches due to aging. Overall, it is glossy and in good condition for an antique. ★ Size Height: approx. 25cm ★ Age Around 1890 !!
