The soft mat was used a few times and then stored, but a stain has formed on the soft mat during storage (see image 6). I don't think it will affect use, but please check if you are concerned. The scale itself was used with a towel on top, and I think it is relatively clean. There is a red scratch on the underside of the scale's foot. It is unknown whether it was there from the time of purchase (see image 4). It will be shipped in the outer box (see image 1).
