These are pruned Zelkova (Keyaki) branches. You will receive 12 thick branches, as shown in the photo. They have been washed with hot water after pruning. The length is about 30 cm at the longest, and the thickness is about 1.2 to 2 cm. Zelkova is characterized by being very hard and strong. How about using them as perches, chew toys, toys, handmade materials, or for crafts for small birds and animals? We will ship them in an envelope or box via Nekopos (a Japanese delivery service), so please be aware of this. They were pruned in February, so they have been drying. The strength increases when they are well dried. Some wood shavings may come off due to shaking during shipping. We recommend opening the package in a place where wood shavings won't be a problem. Occasionally, mold may occur, so please do not store them in a plastic bag. We store ours upright in a cardboard box in a well-ventilated place. Some of the cut ends are not cleanly cut, and there may be small insect holes, Y-shaped tips, cracks due to the passage of time, cut branch ends, bends, and areas where the bark is damaged or peeled. The bark of the thicker branches is rough and often dark. Some branches are rough on the underside. Occasionally, small insects about 5 mm long may bore holes in the wood.
