This is a modified Ibanez Tube Screamer TS9 from the musical instrument store Brush eight in Osaka. I am selling it because I obtained an earlier version of the modification shortly after getting this one. It has only been used at home. It has never been taken outside or mounted on a pedalboard, so it is in like-new condition. Included are the original box and instruction manual. Store description below: ★ Ibanez Tube Screamer TS9 "MOD" LA STYLE Ver4.5 The TS9 is loved by various musicians, including Stevie Ray Vaughan. Even the current normal version is usable, but there are mixed opinions about the compression, the sound when the guitar's volume is turned down, and the sound when the TS9's volume is turned up to the maximum, which can sound somewhat recessed. We aimed for a more open distortion, natural compression, and a sticky drive feel, and that's what we achieved with this MOD. We experimented with various combinations and finally created something we were satisfied with. We referenced TS9s from Keeley, Analog Man, and others, and after extensive testing, the Analog Man Scott Henderson model was the closest to our image. ※ The Scott Henderson model cost around 40,000 to 50,000 yen. We further refined it to achieve an even more open distortion. While the Analog Man Scott Henderson model uses carbon composite resistors, etc., to shape the sound, We used dead stock op-amps and diodes. Therefore, we can't make many, so it will be a limited sale. It can be used even with the guitar's volume turned down, and it has a refreshing drive feel with a touch of grit, along with a stickiness and an exquisite compression and distortion reminiscent of LA guitarists' sound.
