At the very least, it's likely old, possibly semi-antique to antique. I was told it was sourced from an American settlement, but the details are unknown. It was originally strung with thread, which had weakened, so I carefully restrung it with a fine silk cord. The cowrie shells and brass rings are parts that were included from the beginning. I only have this one strand of white hearts with these kinds of parts.
