It was custom-made and has been stored in a paulownia chest with desiccant and anti-mold agents replaced monthly, in its original condition. As a side note, my mother was a kimono enthusiast, and my grandmother was the proprietress of a Japanese inn. Even my daughter has inherited the passion and has obtained a qualification as a着付師 (kitsuke instructor). I only have basic knowledge, but I love kimonos.
