This is a model 10VS, a favorite among professional studios and big band players. The V cup is no longer in the new engraving lineup, so it's only available with the old engraving, making it difficult to obtain. The inner rim diameter is slightly smaller than a Bach 10-1/2. The rim is flat and thick. The outer rim diameter is slightly larger than a Bach 10-1/2. It has a V cup with a scooped inner cup wall, and the depth is similar to a Bach B cup. The throat is #28 (3.57mm). The backbore is similar to a Warburton 3. It has a good response and a thick, deep resonance. When played softly, it has a warm tone, and when more air is put in, it produces a brilliant sound with a core. It's a design that allows for a wide range of expression.
