This is a round tray made of bentwood, a traditional Hida Shunkei lacquerware craft. Diameter: 30cm Height: 3.5cm This item is over 40 years old. I don't remember using it, but it has been stored for a long time. The box is considerably deteriorated, but the tray itself appears to have no noticeable scratches.
